Please see below for an overview of how we process your Personal Data and of your rights according to applicable data protection laws.
Who is responsible for the use of your Personal Data Unless otherwise stated in these Data Protection statements, the legal entity specified on the Event invitation ("we", "us") is the controller of the information that we process and, as such, is responsible, under applicable data privacy laws, for the use of such information.
What Personal Data do we use?
We process Personal Data that we obtain directly from you in the course of marketing Event registration (via printed reply card, email online registration, QR code or onsite mobile device), as applicable: your name, phone number, address, email address, registration data collected on the registration form, and logistical details necessary for running the Event including data which may infer sensitive health, political and/or religious personal data about you (or/and my companion(s)) ("Personal Data"), including your companion’s registration data. Depending on the Event, Personal Data collected in relation to the Event may also include financial data about you (for example regarding Asset under Management, Client Business Volume, Direct Revenues, Net New Assets), the kind of relationship between you and the Bank (i.e. information if you are an account holder or hold a Power of Attorney for an account), data provided to your Relationship Manager during talks with him/her and data about any potential contact between you and your Relationship Manager following the Event.
What do we use your Personal Data for and on what grounds?
We use your Personal Data and other information collected in connection with your participation in the Event for the purpose of arranging and holding the Event, for managing your registration/participation, for allowing you to interact with others in connection with the Event – both within and outside the virtual Event platform, including on social media platforms, for any communication with you in connection with the Event and for efficiency, analysis, and reporting purposes, which might include the usage of online reporting tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Decibel) with regard to this Event. Your data may also be used for Event statistics and tracking purposes (e.g. reporting on the events and tracking the success of the same, in order to define further steps and strategies). If you have indicated your desire to receive marketing materials in the registration form, we may also use your Personal Data to send you personalized direct marketing materials relating to future events. We use your Personal Data only if you have provided your prior consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of Personal Data processed prior to withdrawal.
Who do we share your Personal Data with?
Your Personal Data may be shared, in electronic and/or physical form with authorized personnel of UBS Group (hereinafter referred to as "UBS," "we," "us") and with other third parties involved in the organization, staging, statistics and tracking of the Event. Additionally, your Personal Data may be shared with UBS Group in and outside the jurisdiction where your banking relationship with UBS Group is held in order to allow relevant business representatives to attend the event and meet with you.
Your Personal Data may also be transferred securely to third-party service providers engaged by us (e.g. travel arrangers, hotels, etc.) as relevant for the Event. From time to time we may also need to provide your Personal Data to auditors and government authorities for compliance and regulatory purposes. Please note that third parties may interpret participation in this Event as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a subsidiary of UBS Group. Your Personal Data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Statement accessible at your domicile through the official Credit Suisse (UBS Group) website http://www.credit-suisse.com.

Virtual Events on Expertshare platform
If the Event is held virtually via Expertshare, your Personal Data will be disclosed and processed by the following third parties and for the following purposes:
• SR Media, based in Baden, Switzerland, who provides the conferencing tool Expertshare to UBS Group and/or its subsidiaries. Expertshare applicable Data Privacy Policy: https://srmedia.ch/wp- ontent/uploads/2021/02/Privacy_Policy.pdf
• EveryWare AG with servers based in Zurich, Switzerland, who hosts for UBS Group and/or its subsidiaries the Expertshare Conferencing Tool. EveryWare Privacy Notice: https://www.everyware.ch/datenschutz
• Habegger AG, based in Regensdorf, Switzerland, as Event Studio Livestreaming Production operator.
The Event will be held using the Expertshare platform provided by SR Media and hosted by EveryWare AG, Switzerland. Upon your registration to the Event, your registration data (including email address) and a unique client ID which will be created will be accessible to the UBS Group and the above-mentioned third-party service providers SR Media and EveryWare, in Switzerland, for the purpose of allowing you to access the tool for this and future virtual events. By registering on the virtual platform, you will have the option to display your Personal Data to other Event participants during the Event or stay anonymous. You can change your privacy settings at any time in your personal profile. Please note that your personal profile data is stored on the Expertshare platform, SR Media and potentially Habegger AG will also have access to the Personal Data provided by you in your personal profile.
Please be aware that once you join the live stream on the virtual Event platform your IP address, which may indirectly reveal your identity, will be collected and stored by the embedded streaming platform Swisscom on servers located in Switzerland for the purpose of hosting the Event's live video stream.
If you choose to share your Personal Data (such as first name, last name, and email address) by setting up a personal profile and adjusting the profile privacy settings to display your Personal Data to other Event participants as described below, or if you provide your name over the microphone or by the host, other participants, exhibitors, external speakers, and selected employees of the UBS Group who attend the Event as well as the third parties mentioned above (who may be located outside of Switzerland/the jurisdiction where you reside/where your account with the UBS Group company is booked) may be able to identify you as a client or prospect of a UBS Group company that the third parties mentioned above, other participants, exhibitors, external speakers as well as employees of the UBS Group located in any country may interpret your participation in this Event as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a UBS Group company. You are aware this virtual Event is being recorded and may be shared with other participants after the session. Please note that this also may include distribution to jurisdictions, which do not afford a level of data protection, client data confidentiality or confidentiality equivalent to that available in your home country/where your account with a UBS Group company is booked).
Profile privacy settings
Please note that by registering on the virtual platform, you will have the option to display your Personal Data to the other Event participants during the Event or stay anonymous. You can change your privacy settings at any time in your personal profile. Please note that your personal profile data is stored on the Expertshare platform, and that SR Media and potentially. Habegger AG in Switzerland will also have access to the Personal Data provided by you in your personal profile. Please note that the third parties mentioned above, and if you choose to display your personal data, other participants, exhibitors, external speakers as well as employees of the UBS Group located in any country may interpret your participation in this Event as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a UBS Group company. Please note that this also may include distribution to jurisdictions which do not afford a level of data protection, client data confidentiality or confidentiality equivalent to that available in your home country/Switzerland/where your account with UBS Group company is booked).
Chat support
Please note that by using the Event chat support, your personal profile and/or registration data will be shared with UBS Group’s internal personnel located in Switzerland for the purposes of addressing your chat request. Please note that the employees of the UBS Group may interpret your participation in this Event as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a UBS Group company. Please note we also may include distribution to jurisdictions which do not afford a level of data protection, client data confidentiality or confidentiality equivalent to that available in your home country/Switzerland/where your account with a UBS Group company is booked).
Live Polling functionality
Please note that your participation in the live polling is entirely voluntary. If you have set up a profile, your Personal Data relating to the polling will be shared with SR Media, Switzerland, EveryWare AG, Switzerland, and Habegger AG, Switzerland, as well as with selected employees of UBS Group entity that is organizing the Event. Please note that this may include distribution to jurisdictions which do not afford a level of data protection, client data confidentiality or confidentiality equivalent to that available in your home country and that third parties and employees of the UBS Group company organizing the Event may infer the existence of a client relationship between you and UBS Group company based upon your polling.
If you have not set up a profile, participation in the poll will be anonymous. When using the platform’s Live Polling functionality we ask that you do not input any information regarding your financial/banking relationship with the Bank. The questions used in the poll have been designed so that you cannot be identified. The answers from the live polling participants are visible on the platform anonymously and can be accessed only by employees of the UBS Group company managing the event, as well as by SR Media, Switzerland, EveryWare AG, Switzerland, and Habegger AG, Switzerland. Please note that some questions include open text fields and your identity or that of a third party may be inferred based on the information inserted by you in the free text fields. Please ensure that when completing the free text fields, your comments do not disclose any information that could identify you directly or indirectly and do not disclose any confidential or other personal information. Poll reports consisting of aggregated and anonymous data of participants will be available to the UBS Group for the purpose of improving the platform.
Virtual Events on Swisscom platform
You are informed that this call is being recorded and will be uploaded on our internet page or sent to the participants of the call. Other participants will not see your name. All participants are on a listen-and-speak mode. Please be aware of the fact that your Personal Data may be accessible to others (since it is transported over an open network), and consequently, could be collected and used by others without your consent.
Virtual Events on Swisscom platform
The Event will be held using the platform provided by Swisscom Broadcast AG, a Swiss based vendor, which will have access to your IP address. You are informed that this call is being recorded and will be uploaded on our internet page or sent to the participants of the call. Other participants will not see your name. All participants are on a listen-and-speak mode. Please be aware of the fact that your Personal Data may be accessible to others (since it is transported over an open network), and consequently, could be collected and used by others without your consent. Please note that third parties may interpret participation in this Event as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a UBS Group company.
Virtual Event liability and monitoring
Please be aware of the fact that in connection with virtual events, your Personal Data may also be accessible to others beyond the third-party service providers of the UBS Group and UBS Group companies’ personnel (since it is transported over an open network), and consequently, could be collected and used by others without your consent. Please note that third parties may interpret participation in this webinar as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a UBS Group company.
You hereby release the UBS Group from all liability in connection with the provision of data by you in connection with this webinar. You assume responsibility for all consequences and any damages that may arise (i) at any time due to any use of the data by third-party service providers or other third parties (ii) in connection with your participation in the webinar, including any materials related thereto. Further, the UBS Group cannot guarantee the truth, accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information presented or contained in this video conference, nor that the video conference will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, and free from any viruses, worms or other anomalies. Will your Personal Data be transferred across national borders?
UBS Group is a global company, and therefore your Personal Data may be accessed, transferred or otherwise processed by authorized UBS Group companies and third-party suppliers outside the jurisdiction of the marketing Event or different from your country of residence. Please note that this also may include distribution to other jurisdictions, which do not provide privacy protections equivalent to those available in your home jurisdiction. When we engage in such restricted data transfers, we make use of standard contractual data protection clauses, which have been approved by the European Commission to safeguard the transfers of information we collect from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. You have the right to request a copy of the standard contractual clauses that we rely on. In particular, your Personal Data may be kept in a central marketing Event management database hosted at Credit Suisse AG in Switzerland maybe available to personnel of UBS Group companies based in Switzerland that support Events including program statistics and tracking.
How long will your Personal Data be stored?
Your Personal Data will be kept for 18 months following the Event. After this period, Event-related information (that may include Personal Data of the Event participants) is securely disposed of or archived for the purpose of record retention obligations that UBS Group is subject to under applicable laws and regulations.
Are you obliged to provide Personal Data?
It is voluntary for you to provide us with your Personal Data and consent to the use of your Personal Data as outlined in this Data Protection statement, but if you fail to do so, we may be unable to register you for the Event.
What data protection rights do you have?
If you (i) have any questions about the way that the UBS Group use your Personal Data; (ii) do not want us to contact you; (iii) wish to make a complaint in relation to the use of your Personal Data; or (iv) wish to exercise your rights as a data subject under the applicable laws of your country, which may include the right to withdraw your consent, the right to access your Personal Data, the right to update or rectify your Personal Data, the right to have your Personal Data erased, the right to restrict further processing of your Personal Data or the right to data portability, as applicable, please inform us by sending an email the following address: virtual.event@credit-suisse.com
You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for the purposes of direct marketing at any time, in which case we will no longer process your Personal Data for this purpose. We will respond to your request/complaint in the timeframe specified in any applicable law or otherwise within a reasonable time. In addition to the above rights, you may also lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection supervisory authority in line with applicable law.
- Direct marketing
In case you decide to opt in for such option, we may use your Personal Data to send you direct marketing materials relating to the Event. After the Event, we would also like to provide you with further information relating to our products/services presented during the Event. Please note that you can object to this, and that by doing so, we will not be able to provide you with materials relating to the Event and/or further information related to products/services presented during the Event.
- Event cancelation policy
UBS Group reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the Event or the venue, date, and time of the Event should unforeseen circumstances occur. In case the UBS Group cancels the Event for any reason, incurred costs for travel arrangements in connection with the Event will not be refunded by the UBS Group.
- Anti-corruption statement
The UBS Group seeks to comply with the various anti-corruption laws and regulations applicable to government officials, employees of government entities/agencies and employees of commercial entities which may impose constraints on the amount or type of expenses the UBS Group may pay on your behalf. By registering for this Event, you confirm that your acceptance of this invitation and the payment by the UBS Group of expenses associated with this Event, including but not limited to any meals, refreshments, receptions, hotel accommodation, and other entertainment, do not violate any law or regulation to which you may be subject or your organization's policies and you have obtained any necessary approvals. If you or your organization is required to reimburse the UBS Group or pay for any of the expenses directly, kindly contact us to make the necessary arrangements.
