- The offer is only valid for new deposits that are paid into a Savings account Invest that has been opened by July 31, 2024. New deposits are deposits that are not already booked with Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. or another company belonging to UBS Group AG at the time of transfer to Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. (e.g. transfer of assets from another financial institution).
- The interest on the Savings account Invest is calculated from the date of each deposit into the newly opened Savings account Invest and applies until December 31, 2024. On January 1, 2025, the Savings account Invest will become a regular Savings account and the conditions for a regular Savings account will apply.
- The interest on the Savings account Invest is based on the standard interest rate for a regular Credit Suisse Savings account of 0.75% per year for amounts up to CHF 50,000, and of 0.30% per year for amounts above that. An interest bonus is granted in addition for amounts up to CHF 250,000.
- Clients who meet the minimum-investment requirement as of November 30, 2024, will receive an interest bonus of 1% per year on the uninvested amount from the time of deposit.
- Clients who do not meet the minimum-investment requirement as of November 30, 2024, will receive an interest bonus of 0.5% per year on the uninvested amount from the time of deposit.
- In order to meet the minimum-investment requirement, an investment of at least CHF 10,000 must be made from the Savings account Invest in any investment products available via the Savings+ savings advisory service or via the CSX Invest function in the CSX app. The prevailing conditions for investment accounts shall apply. If the client does not terminate the account, the funds will remain in place even after the Savings account Invest is converted to a regular Savings account.
- Excepting the terms and conditions of the offer, the conditions for a regular Savings account apply, in particular:
- The bank reserves the right to change the interest rate at any time, in particular in the event of changes in the money market conditions or any circumvention of the terms and conditions of the offer, and to notify clients of this in an appropriate manner.
- Withholding tax of 35% on the credit interest; for accounts with annual closing statements, taxable credit interest up to CHF 200 is exempt from withholding tax.
- Availability of CHF 50,000 per calendar year, higher amounts with a notice period of three months; if the withdrawal limit is exceeded without compliance with the notice period, 1% of the amount exceeding the limit will be debited automatically. No restrictions on the purchase of securities and precious metals through Credit Suisse or for interest payments and principal repayments to Credit Suisse.
- An administration fee of CHF 10 per withdrawal will be charged starting with the 13th withdrawal in one year.
