Credit Suisse Arena

Credit Suisse is proud that the planned new football stadium in Zurich, the Credit Suisse Arena, bears the bank's name.

As part of its extensive commitment to Swiss football, Credit Suisse is supporting a new football stadium in the Zurich-West neighborhood – the Credit Suisse Arena – which has been specially designed for football. In September 2020, voters in the city of Zurich clearly backed the project once again.

With the Credit Suisse Arena, the city of Zurich will have a functional and sustainable football stadium that shines economically and in terms of urban development.

All the championship games of FC Zurich and Grasshopper Club Zurich will be contested in the new stadium in the future. In addition, friendly matches and those of the Swiss national football teams will also be played at the Credit Suisse Arena.

Having a new home arena will open up new sources of income for the two Zurich city football clubs that are necessary for them to be economically successful. A good environment is essential for football so that outstanding athletic performances can be achieved at all levels. The promotion of young talent will also benefit, something that has been very important to Credit Suisse for many years.

Credit Suisse has acquired the naming rights for the stadium and will also serve as arena partner for both home teams. Until Grasshopper Club Zurich and FC Zurich move to the Credit Suisse Arena, the bank will continue to have a presence in field advertising and other advertising media for the clubs' home matches at the Letzigrund Stadium. It will also use tickets and VIP boxes among other things to invite guests.

The Credit Suisse Arena reflects the bank's firm commitment to the city of Zurich, sports in general, and football in particular. Since 1993, Credit Suisse has been a successful partner to the Swiss Football Association and supports long-term talent promotion of women, men, and the next generation. In addition, Credit Suisse has been the main sponsor of the Credit Suisse Super League, which bears the bank's name, since the 2021/2022 season. Through its extensive commitment, the bank is helping to improve conditions in football while facilitating outstanding performance at all levels.
