Sponsorship Classic Cars
A passion for the enduring and a sense of tradition are two values that connect Credit Suisse with the classic car scene. Since 2004, Credit Suisse has therefore enhanced the classic car scene by adding Rallies, Sponsorships and its own Classic Car park.
The engagement in Goodwood is one in a series of high-profile partnerships that underscore Credit Suisse’s more than decade-long commitment to historic motorsport. The Goodwood Revival is widely accepted as the most unique historic racing festival in the world. Since 1998, every September a Revival with all types of road-racing cars and motorcycles that would have participated in the original races between 1948 and 1966 takes place at Goodwood. The races are held at the original circuit on the Goodwood estate.
Since 2009 Credit Suisse has been a proud partner of the Goodwood Revival. In 2013 Credit Suisse committed to a seven-year title sponsorship of the iconic Race Control building, which is stationed in a prominent position overlooking the racetrack. The historic Race Control building underwent extensive restoration to combine premium contemporary interiors with the period character features that are in keeping with the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Since its re-opening in 2013 Credit Suisse Race Control’s duties at the Goodwood Revival include all driver briefings and the prize-giving on Sunday evening. It plays host to drivers and VIPs. The media is invited to the Credit Suisse Historic Racing Forum on the Revival Saturday morning, where celebrated motor racing figures tell stories of their racing life.
The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique was launched by the Automobile Club de Monaco in 1997 and takes place every other year on the legendary circuit of Monaco – just two weeks before the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique is a celebration of cars from the 1930s through the 1970s and features seven exceptional and exciting race series.
Credit Suisse has been a proud partner of the Automobile Club de Monaco since 2010 and hosts the competing racers, VIPs, and media at the Credit Suisse Drivers Club. One of the highlights is the Credit Suisse Historic Racing Forum that is staged at the Credit Suisse Drivers Club for the media. A panel of world-class motor racing drivers and leading motoring authorities is invited to debate a chosen theme, relevant to the venue, panelists, press, and public.
As one of the main sponsors since 2010, Credit Suisse has established the Credit Suisse Classic Car Rally Parade, which enables the guests of the Credit Suisse Classic Car Rally to show their classic cars to thousands of spectators while doing three laps on the legendary race track of Monaco.
