Credit Suisse named Best Private Bank in Singapore for third consecutive year by Euromoney

Credit Suisse was named best private bank in Euromoney magazine’s Private Banking Survey 2011. This is the third consecutive year Credit Suisse has received this award from the leading industry business publication. The prestigious award acknowledges Credit Suisse’s private banking business leadership in Singapore and the success of its integrated banking franchise. Credit Suisse was also best private bank globally for the second consecutive year in the survey.

Marcel Kreis, Head of Private Banking Asia Pacific, said: “Being voted the best private bank in Singapore for the third year running reflects the excellent reputation we have maintained as a leading wealth manager in a highly competitive and challenging market environment. They recognize the quality of our advisory, the breadth and depth of our integrated business model, and most of all the skills and commitment of our employees as trusted financial partners who help our clients thrive.

In the past three years, we have consistently focused on growing our Private Banking franchise in Asia, enhancing our value proposition for our key client segments, and successfully building a presence in key domestic markets to meet the changing needs of our clients in an evolving regulatory and business landscape. We have also continued to invest in our people, our platform and our offering. All in all, we have built a much stronger base for the continued growth of our franchise in the region.”

In Singapore, Credit Suisse has its largest private banking center outside of Switzerland and a major regional hub. Close collaboration across all divisions has been instrumental for the successful development of our Singapore business.

The annual Euromoney rankings are derived from a qualitative and quantitative review of the best services in private banking by markets and by areas of service. The survey includes competitors’ perceptions of the best-performing providers in defined categories.
