Christine Graeff

Global Head of People, Credit Suisse

Christine Graeff is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse based in Zurich. She is Group Head Corporate Communications and Deputy Global Head of Human Resources. She reports into the Chairman, the CEO and the Global Head of Human Resources.

Ms. Graeff joined Credit Suisse from the ECB where she was Head of Communication for its last two presidents, Mario Draghi and Christine Lagarde. During her tenure, Ms. Graeff built the communications function of the European Banking Supervisor, the Single Supervisory Mechanism.

Prior to the ECB, Ms. Graeff was managing partner with the Brunswick Group from 2001 to 2013 where she founded and grew the German business while focusing on the financial sector. She started her career as an Investment Banker in the Corporate Finance team of Kleinwort Benson in London.

Ms. Graeff was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2013. She is currently the Chair of the Board of the English Theater in Frankfurt.

Ms. Graeff holds a BA in European studies from the Centre d’Etudes Supérieures Européenes & Middlesex University (First Class Honours) and is a trained business coach.
