The ventures presented at the 3rd Private Innovation Circle (PIC) have been carefully selected based on the innovative power and the revenue generation potential of their business ideas. All the owners and founders are successful entrepreneurs with far-reaching visions who are striving to make a difference. 10 ventures were handpicked from more than 100 applications by the PIC Committee, comprising highly qualified senior professionals from Credit Suisse, including specialists in corporate finance, venture investing and research.

Nicole Arnaboldi

Vice Chairman, Credit Suisse Asset Management; Head, Direct Equity Partners, Credit Suisse

Nicole started her career in venture capital, spending several years with the Sprout Group, Credit Suisse’s VC affiliates. She then helped develop the bank’s buyout, mezzanine and other illiquid alternative businesses, including JVs in many emerging markets and funds focused on sectors ranging from VC to infrastructure.

The objective is to introduce investors and entrepreneurs to each other, and to interesting companies innovating in a variety of industries and geographies.

Nick Toro

Nick is also a member of the Global Markets IT Extended Management Committee and Americas Regional Lead for Architecture. He joined Credit Suisse in 2009 after a 16-year career at JP Morgan and a 12-year career running his own software start-up.
