Esther Wong

Esther Wong is head of strategic investment at SenseTime, and also a partner of the SenseTime AI fund with AUM of 5 bn RMB. SenseTime focuses its investments on companies in the AI ecosystem and finding long-term strategic partners.
She previously ran Equity Capital Markets at Bocom International, with a special focus on the technology, education, and financial sectors. She began her career almost 20 years ago as an analyst on Wall Street; her last role in New York was Head of Sales and Trading for Cazenove Asia (acquired by JPMorgan/Standard Chartered) where she was the first Chinese and woman to be appointed that position. She then moved to Hong Kong in 2006 to support the launching of CICC's US office, and in the process, was rated as one of Greater China’s Top Institutional Sales by Asia Money Magazine five years in a row.
Ms. Wong graduated with an Associate Degree in Hospitality Administration in Glion Institutes, Switzerland; followed by BAs in Economics and Political Science at SUNY Stony Brook, in the US.
Raymond Wong

Raymond Wong manages the HKSTP Corporate Venture Fund and Investment & Business Support departments. He has over 20 years of extensive financial services experience in capital investment, portfolio management, mergers and acquisition as well as strategic investment across different sectors in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to HKSTP, Mr. Wong was the Principal in HPEF Capital Partners, which is an ex-HSBC private equity firm. Prior to HSBC, Mr. Wong worked in the capital investment and investment banking divisions of ABN AMRO Bank. Previously, he had software development experience at IBM Laboratory in Toronto, Canada.
