Philippe Cerf is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division of Credit Suisse, based in London. He is Co-Head of the EMEA Telecom, Media and Technology Group.
Mr. Cerf joined Credit Suisse in 2008. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at Lehman Brothers working on a variety of transactions across sectors both in Europe and North America. His current focus is on the coverage of technology companies across EMEA.
Selected M+A transactions include the sale of Linxens to CVC; the acquisition of Sunpower by Total; the acquisition of RBS Worldpay by Advent and Bain; the divestiture of Misys' controlling interest in Allscripts; the sale of Telvent to Schneider; the sale of Sophis by Advent; the sale of Ogone to Summit Partners; recent IPOs include Zalando, Scout24, Softcat, Flow Traders and Worldpay; recent leveraged finance transactions include Misys, Avast, Teamviewer, Linxens and Evry.
Mr. Cerf is a graduate of HEC Paris and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
