Past Forums Forum 2014
1st annual High-Tech Forum
A special place in the old flea market of Tel Aviv to exchange ideas on how to source growth and invest in High-Tech
In November 2014, Credit Suisse hosted its first exclusive High-Tech Forum in Tel Aviv with 150 selected guests: innovative Israeli start-ups, growth stage entrepreneurs looking for their next big step, and selected high-tech investors and experts from Israel and abroad looking for investment opportunities. In the old flea market of Tel Aviv we recreated the atmosphere of a living room, a place where entrepreneurs often start their journeys.

Key speakers included: Eyal Waldman, President of Mellanox; Gigi Levy, Israeli high-tech angel; David Rowan, international tech expert and editor of Wired magazine; and Chris Cottrell of Credit Suisse IB TMT who co-led the Alibaba IPO.
Together with our 2014 partner SOSA we hosted an exclusive pitching ring allowing five innovative Israeli high-tech start-up entrepreneurs to pitch in four minutes to the Forum’s audience of selected high-tech investors and experts from Israel and abroad. CallVu, a developer of visual solutions for call centers, was instantly selected by electronic vote of the audience as the winner of the 2014 pitching ring. It was awarded with a one-year scholarship sponsored by Credit Suisse including a field trip to its Asian Investment Conference in Hong Kong and including personal coaching sessions by the Head of Credit Suisse Israel, and it was promoted in the Forum’s media release and on the Credit Suisse high-tech website.
