Swiss Seniors Open Collaboration

Credit Suisse as Main Sponsor

The Swiss Seniors Open - which initially started out in 1997 as the “Credit Suisse Private Banking Seniors Open” and then carried on as the “Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open” until 2014 - sets a new record as the longest-running Staysure Tour event held in one location. This also makes the event the oldest on the Staysure Tour and the second most important Swiss golf tournament after the Omega European Masters in Crans-Montana. From the time it was first held, golf professionals have considered Bad Ragaz as one of their absolute favorite stops on the tour due to its unique atmosphere, challenging course, and professional organization.

As the tournament's loyal sponsor from the outset, Credit Suisse is very proud to also celebrate over 20 years of partnership with this prestigious tournament, and to have always been there whenever international stars and legends such as Gary Player, Sir Bob Charles, and Ian “Woosie” Woosnam walked the fairways of Bad Ragaz.
