MD: Breast Cancer
Adam Brufsky, MD, PhD is the Director of the Magee University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center and Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Brufsky specializes in a broad variety of malignacies with special interests in GU cancers and breast cancer. He has funded research from the DOD and Komen Foundation to develop cDNA microarrays to provide clues to breast cancer progression and lymph node positivity. He is the Prinipcal Investigator of approximately 10-15 clinical trials in breast cancer and prostate cancer. He is a consultant for Novartis, Aventis, Genentech, Pharmacia, Berlex, and Astrazeneca Pharmaceuticals.
