Steve Pearson joined Tudor in June 2013. He manages Tudor’s Funds Research and Trading Group. The group analyzes market microstructure issues and global capital flows in order to identify and implement trading strategies around potential demand/supply imbalances that may lead to predictable asset price movements. Prior to joining Tudor, Steve was (i) Chief Economist at Element Capital Management, LLC (2010-2013); (ii) Global Head of G10 FX Strategy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (2008-2010); (iii) Chief Currency Strategist and Director of Currency Overlay and Strategic Trading at HBOS Treasury Services Plc. (2001-2008); (iv) Economist and Research Analyst at Halifax Plc. (1998-2001); and (v) an analyst at Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith (1997-1998). Steve holds both a B.A. (Honours) in Economics (1996) and an M.A. (1997) in Economics and Finance from the University of Leeds. Steve splits his time between the Tudor London and US offices.
