CEO, Investment Banking and Capital Markets, Credit Suisse
James L. Amine is a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse, based in New York. He is CEO of the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division.
Jim has responsibility for the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division, including the sector and country coverage groups, Mergers & Acquisitions and the Debt and Equity Capital Markets Solutions Groups. He is a member of the Global Investment Bank Operating Committee, the Corporate Bank Oversight Committee, the IB Risk Management Committee and the Global Client Steering Committee. Jim is Head of the IBCM Global Operating Committee and the IBCM Global Management Committee. Previously, Jim was Head of the Global Investment Banking Department and, before that, for EMEA and Asia Pacific, as well as Head of the Global Markets Solutions Group. Prior to assuming that role, he was Co-Head of Global Leveraged Finance.
Jim joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 1997. He began his career as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
Jim is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Law School.
Jim is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation, the Dean's Advisory Board of Harvard Law School, the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, New York Cares and the Leadership Committee of Lincoln Center Corporate Fund.
