Blog Highlights from Credit Suisse Global Megatrends Conference 2017
A key theme that emerged was that 2017 is shaping to be one of the most dynamic years for global markets with navigating and looking further into the future a necessity to capture opportunities in the current climate.
The conference focused on six global Megatrend investment themes consisting of three overarching Megatrends pillars: multi-polar world, demographics and sustainability. Dovetailing this, panel discussions delved into the demands of urbanization on infrastructure, the rampant impact of technology on all aspects of professional and personal lives, and longevity against the backdrop of an aging population.
Overall, participants gained valuable insights on what these key developments and Megatrend themes meant in practical terms to investors as well as benefitted from the insights shared by 24 internationally known speakers in their respective fields.
