Philanthropists Forum 2017
The 7th Credit Suisse Philanthropists Forum took place in Singapore on November 16, 2017.
The Forum connected a highly select group of our clients from around the region with global thought leaders and expert practitioners in the philanthropy and non-profit space. The Forum engaged philanthropists with ambitions to leverage their wealth, experience, and other resources to benefit the wider community and to create opportunity for all. Credit Suisse provides philanthropy advisory services across the world, with Singapore as one of our key hubs.
The theme of the 2017 Forum was “Healthcare Giving in Asia”. The Forum focused on distinctive trends affecting healthcare philanthropy in Asia and how philanthropists can meet the challenges of healthcare systems in the region. Special emphasis was placed on ‘elder care’, an issue that is especially topical in countries facing an aging population.
We were privileged to have Minister Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Health, Singapore as the Guest-of-Honor with renowned philanthropists and experts in this field such as Dr Mary Ann Tsao, Anita Fam, Philip Ma, Paul Robertson and Dr Kua Ee Heok among other speakers sharing their expertise and knowledge.
