As Chief Financial Officer of G7, Jielong Zhang is responsible for the company's corporate finance, strategic investment, accounting, legal, public relations and government affairs functions. Mr. Zhang has over 13 years’ experience in private equity investments, focusing on early and growth stage investment opportunities in the logistics, financial services, automobile and alternative energy sectors. Before joining G7, Mr. Zhang was a Managing Director of CDB International, the private equity arm of China Development Bank, and led investments in Alibaba, Ant Financial, GLP, Best Logistics, Yimidida, Wacai.com, NIO, Meicai.com and Yingde Gas. In 2008, Mr. Zhang led the US$320 million Series D fundraising of G7.
Mr. Zhang obtained a Master’s degree in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
