Gregory M. Dowling

Gregory M. Dowling has been an investment professional since 1997 and a Fund Evaluation Group (“FEG”) team member since 2004. FEG is a $62 billion institutional investment advisor offering discretionary and non-discretionary consulting services. Mr. Dowling’s primary role is Chief Investment Officer. As part of this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm’s research department. In addition, Mr. Dowling chairs FEG’s Investment Policy Committee and is a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. He was nominated for the 2017 & 2014 "Hedge Fund Consultant of the Year Award" by Institutional Investor and was named one of the 2015 World’s Most Influential (Specialist) Consultants by Chief Investment Officer. He started his career as a financial analyst at Firstar Bank and thereafter was a Vice President at Bowling Portfolio Management. In this role he supervised trading and sat on the firm’s Investment Committee.
Outside of FEG, Mr. Dowling is an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati where he has taught courses on risk management and alternative investments. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Cincinnati. Mr. Dowling received his MBA in Business Administration from Xavier University and his BSBA in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
