Mr. Fan Jianping is the Chief Economist of the State Information Center, a key think thank affiliated to the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC). Mr. Fan is also an advisory consultant for Beijing Municipal City Government and the Ministry of Commerce. His research is mainly focused on China’s macro-economy, long-term development strategy. In addition to the regular economic analysis reports and policy proposals to the NDRC and the State Council, Mr. Fan and his team have also deeply involved in drafting China's annual and five-year plans in the past decades.
