Biography Adolfo Orsi Jr.
Adolfo Orsi Jr.

As the grandson of Adolfo and son of Omar Orsi, who held the reins of Maserati between 1937 and 1969, Adolfo Orsi Jr. developed his own passion for motorcars in his adolescent years. The passion stayed with him and, in the years following, shaped the course of his life.

Now a historian of Italian motorsport, noted collector car expert, specialist in authenticity and staunch advocate of preservation, Mr. Orsi has coordinated and overseen the restoration of some of the most significant Italian cars ever produced. He has curated numerous historical exhibitions and, for the past 25 years, co-authored the Classic Car Auction Yearbook, a historical reference book sponsored by Credit Suisse that provides an in-depth and unique analysis of top international auction sales.

Mr. Orsi has also served as Chief Class Judge of the FIVA Award at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elégance since its inception in 1999, and has been Chief Judge of the Ferrari 60th and 70th, Lamborghini 50th and Maserati 100th Concours.
