Classic Car Program Classic Car
Credit Suisse has been a passionate and loyal supporter of classic cars since 2004.
In addition to fostering an exclusive network among passionate followers of historic motorsport, Credit Suisse is committed to a wide-ranging Classic Car Program. This includes its own rallies and sponsorships at leading international historic motorsport events such as the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique and Goodwood Revival.
Partner of Leading International Classic Car Events
The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, a legendary historic racing weekend, is held every other year on the world-renowned Formula 1 race track. During the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, Credit Suisse hosts racers, VIPs and media at the unique Swiss chalet-style Credit Suisse Drivers Club. The Club also stages the Credit Suisse Historic Racing Forum.
The second of Credit Suisse’s classic car sponsorships is the unrivaled Goodwood Revival, with which Credit Suisse has extended its partnership until 2019. The Revival, which encapsulates the original period of Goodwood Motor Racing (from 1948-1966), is widely recognized as the most unique historic racing festival in the world. As part of its continued partnership with the Goodwood Revival, Credit Suisse helped preserve the Goodwood Motor Circuit’s historic Race Control building, which has been reopened after extensive restoration work.
The building, overlooking the Circuit, has long been an iconic feature and Credit Suisse Race Control plays a central role in Credit Suisse’s activities during the Revival.
It is with deep sadness that we have to inform you that our dear friend of the Program, the renowned and very popular journalist, broadcaster and Goodwood commentator, Henry Hope-Frost, passed away in an accident on March 8, 2018.
Henry was the moderator of our Historic Racing Forums in Goodwood and Monaco from 2013 until our last one in 2016. It was a joy working with him. His #Fever for motorsport was clear to see and enjoyed by everyone who had the pleasure of getting to know him.
The motorsport world has lost an outstanding personality. Our Program has lost its most vibrant and enthusiastic friend.
