If you are interested in joining the virtual media briefing and selected sessions at the 13th Credit Suisse China Investment Conference (CIC), please complete this form, following which you will be notified of your accreditation. All press must be accredited to participate in the virtual sessions. Login details will be provided upon your successful registration.
Please kindly note that only selected keynotes and panel sessions at the CIC are open to the media. Please refer to the CIC Media Program for details. Should you wish to interview any of the speakers or Credit Suisse experts, please contact the Credit Suisse media team.
All media are requested to reference the Credit Suisse China Investment Conference (瑞信中国投资论坛) when quoting any speaker at the conference.

Who is responsible for the use of your Personal Data
Unless otherwise stated in these Data Protection statements, the legal entity specified on the Event invitation ("we", "us") is the controller of the information that we process and, as such, is responsible, under applicable data privacy laws, for the use of such information.
What personal data do we use?
We process personal data that we obtain directly from you in the course of marketing Event registration (via printed reply card, e-mail online registration, QR code or onsite mobile device), as applicable: your name, phone number, address, email address, registration data collected on the registration form and logistical details necessary for running the Event ("Personal Data"), including your companion registration data.
What do we use your Personal Data for and on what grounds?
We use your Personal Data and other information collected in connection with your participation in the Event for the purpose of arranging and holding the Event, for managing your registration/participation, for allowing you to interact with others in connection with the Event both within and outside the virtual Event platform, including on social media platforms, for any communication with you in connection with the Event and for efficiency, analysis, and reporting purposes, which might include the usage of online reporting tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Decibel) with regard to this Event. Your data may also be used for Event statistics and tracking purposes (e.g. reporting on the events and tracking the success of the same, in order to define further steps and strategies). If you have indicated your desire to receive marketing materials in the registration form, we may also use your Personal Data to send you personalized direct marketing materials relating to future events. We use your Personal Data only if you have provided your prior consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of Personal Data processed prior to withdrawal.
Who do we share your Personal Data with?
Your Personal Data may be shared, in electronic and/or physical form with authorized personnel of Credit Suisse AG, and Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. in Switzerland as well as with Credit Suisse Group AG and its affiliates ("Credit Suisse Group") (the address(es) of which are available at https://www.credit-suisse.com) (herein referred to as "Credit Suisse Group", "Credit Suisse", "we", "us" in Hong Kong and elsewhere who are involved in the organization and staging of the Event.
Your Personal Data may also be transferred securely to third-party service providers engaged by us (e.g. travel arrangers, hotels, etc.) as relevant for the Event. From time to time we may also need to provide your Personal Data to auditors and government authorities for compliance and regulatory purposes. Please note that third parties may interpret participation in this Event as an indication of an existing or potential banking relationship with a Credit Suisse Group company. Your personal Data will be processed in accordance with the Credit Suisse privacy statement accessible at your domicile through the official Credit Suisse website: https://www.credit-suisse.com.
In addition, your Personal Data may be processed by Dealogic, 120 Broadway, 8th Floor, New York, NY, 10271, USA for the purposes of providing IT services in connection with this website.
Virtual events on Zoom platform
The meetings are hosted on the Zoom platform, a third-party cloud-based video conferencing service provider not affiliated with Credit Suisse. Credit Suisse expressly excludes any warranty or representation of any kind, either express or implied, with respect to the Zoom platform, its use or any content or information contained therein. Although this invitation may include link(s) to the Zoom platform, Credit Suisse has not participated in the development of the Zoom platform and does not monitor or exert any control over the Zoom platform. Link(s) to and from the Zoom platform do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Credit Suisse of the Zoom platform or its products/services. Please note that if you join this meeting, you may need to acknowledge and/or accept separate terms and conditions as required by the Zoom platform, including the Zoom Privacy Statement. Virtual Platform on Open Exchange platform
For the purpose of participation in the webinar, your Personal Data will be processed and held abroad by OpenExchange, United States, for the purposes of providing IT services in connection with this webinar. Although you do not need to create your own OpenExchange account to access the webinar, after registration and confirmation, you will be provided with a link to enter the webinar, and will need to enter your name, email address (and company name, if applicable). You recognize that data disclosed to and/or shared with this third-party service provider will be subject to the laws of the United States, which may not necessarily offer the same level of confidentiality, bank-client confidentiality or data protection as the country where you reside/book Credit Suisse services or the country where the Credit Suisse company with which you are engaging is located, and may require the third party service provider to disclose all or any part of the data to authorities or other third parties. Will your Personal Data be transferred across national borders?
Credit Suisse is a global company, and therefore your Personal Data may be accessed, transferred or otherwise processed by authorized Credit Suisse personnel and third-party suppliers outside the jurisdiction of the marketing Event or different from your country of residence. Please note that this also may include distribution to other jurisdictions, which do not provide privacy protections equivalent to those available in your home jurisdiction. When we engage in such restricted data transfers, we make use of standard contractual data protection clauses, which have been approved by the European Commission to safeguard the transfers of information we collect from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. You have the right to request a copy of the standard contractual clauses that we rely on. In particular, your Personal Data may be kept in a central marketing Event management database hosted at Credit Suisse AG in Switzerland, and may be available to Credit Suisse personnel based in Switzerland that support Events including program statistics and tracking.
How long will your Personal Data be stored?
Your Personal Data will be kept for 18 months following the Event. After this period, Event-related information (that may include Personal Data of the Event participants) is securely archived for the purpose of record retention obligations that Credit Suisse is subject to under applicable laws and regulations.
Are you obliged to provide Personal Data?
It is voluntary for you to provide us with your Personal Data and consent to the use of your Personal Data as outlined in this Data Protection statement, but if you fail to do so, we may be unable to register you for the Event.
What data protection rights do you have?
If you (i) have any questions about the way that Credit Suisse collects and uses your Personal Data; (ii) do not want us to contact you; (iii) wish to make a complaint in relation to the use of your Personal Data; or (iv) wish to exercise your rights as a data subject under the applicable laws of your country, which may include the right to withdraw your consent, the right to access your Personal Data, the right to update or rectify your Personal Data, the right to have Credit Suisse erase your Personal Data, the right to restrict further processing of your Personal Data or the right to data portability, as applicable, please inform us by sending an email to Credit Suisse - Registration Coordinator at the following address: cic.conference@credit-suisse.com.
You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for the purposes of direct marketing at any time, in which case we will no longer process your Personal Data for this purpose. We will respond to your request/complaint in the timeframe specified in any applicable law, or otherwise within a reasonable time. In addition to the above rights, you may also lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection supervisory authority in line with applicable law.

2. Direct Marketing
In case you decide to opt in for such option, we may use your Personal Data to send you direct marketing materials relating to the Event. After the Event, we would also like to provide you with further information relating to our products/services presented during the Event. Please note that you can object to this, and that by doing so, we will not be able to provide you with materials relating to the Event and/or further information related to products/services presented during the Event.
3. Event cancelation policy
Credit Suisse reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the Event or the venue, date, and time of the Event should unforeseen circumstances occur. In case Credit Suisse cancels the Event for any reason, incurred costs for travel arrangements in connection with the Event will not be refunded by Credit Suisse.
4. Anti-corruption statement
Credit Suisse Group seeks to comply with the various anti-corruption laws and regulations applicable to government officials, employees of government entities/agencies and employees of commercial entities which may impose constraints on the amount or type of expenses Credit Suisse Group may pay on your behalf. By registering for this Event, you confirm that your acceptance of this invitation and the payment by Credit Suisse Group of expenses associated with this Event, including but not limited to any meals, refreshments, receptions, hotel accommodation, and other entertainment, do not violate any law or regulation to which you may be subject or your organization's policies and you have obtained any necessary approvals. If you or your organization is required to reimburse Credit Suisse Group or pay for any of these expenses directly, kindly contact us to make the necessary arrangements.
