Welcome

We are pleased to announce the Credit Suisse Carbon Negative Conference 3.0, in collaboration with XPRZE, will take place in San Francisco on April 19 - 21, 2023.

Deadline for submission of meeting requests is Monday, March 13, 2023.

Introduction

1053312200

In collaboration with XPRIZE, please join our Equity Capital Markets and Investment Banking teams for the Carbon Negative Conference 3.0. Hear from industry experts and the world’s leading carbon management companies, including the “Top 60” competitors in the $100M XPRIZE Carbon Removal, on how this asset class is working to tackle the biggest threat facing humanity - climate change, and the urgent need to rebalance Earth’s carbon cycle. The conference will showcase public and private companies from around the world working on innovative technologies including direct air capture, ocean carbon removal, rock mineralization, carbon utilization, alternative or negative fuels, and new approaches to carbon credits.

About XPRIZE

The $100M XPRIZE Carbon Removal is a global incentive prize competition supported by the Musk Foundation to increase the supply of viable, high-quality CDR projects. Launched in 2021, the four-year competition requires carbon removal companies, or “teams” competing to win the prize, to produce a working demonstration that removes at least 1,000 net tons of carbon dioxide per year and present a plan for scaling up to gigatons of removal annually. Response to the prize has been strong: over 1,100 teams from around the world are currently registered to compete. In 2022, XPRIZE awarded 15 Milestone Round prizes of $1 million each, and announced the Top 60 Teams from that round of review. Anyone is still eligible to win the remaining awards. On Earth Day 2025, $50M will be awarded to a single Grand Prize Winner, and $30M will be distributed among up to three Runners Up Teams. This work is supported by the broader XPRIZE Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to help inspire solutions to problems that can have maximum benefit for all humanity. Other active competitions include the $10M XPRIZE Rainforest, $5M XPRIZE Rapid Reskilling, $15M Feed the Next Billion XPRIZE, and the $1M Digital Learning Challenge Removal.

Thank you to our sponsors.
