The security features allow you to see whether a note is real: Some security features are visible when you move the note around or zoom in on parts of it. Others you can simply see and touch.
If you tilt the note left and right, there is a colorful arc on the globe. If you tilt the note up and down, the globe changes color.
Hold the note in front of you. In silver, you see the map of Switzerland. Depending on the note, you will see its value as a number, as well as different design elements. On the ten-franc note, for instance, you will see the Swiss tunnel network, as well as the names and lengths of the tunnels.
Hold the note against the light. The cross becomes a Swiss flag.
Touch the note. You will feel the hand and the printed number. If you rub both elements on light paper, they leave a colored trace.

Touch the edges of the note. Do you feel the bars? Those are touch marks for blind people. The number of bars will vary depending on the note.

Look through a magnifying glass and find the small writing around the Swiss cross.
At the top right, there is a globe you can only see under UV light.
Both sides of the note have small fibers that are bright and colorful under UV light.
If you look at the note with an infrared camera, some elements become gray and others are no longer visible.
If you hold the note in front of you, here you will see a silver thread in a triangle. If you then hold the note against the light, you can see the silver thread throughout the entire note.
You can see the serial number twice on each note. However, the writing is different.
