UBS has ability networks in Switzerland, the UK, Poland and the Americas, all working to increase awareness around disabilities, whether visible, or not, and the diverse experiences and perspectives that come with having a disability. By raising awareness and educating our workforce, we aim to remove stigma associated with having a disability. We value our differences by, creating an inclusive environment, that prioritizes accessibility and strives to hire more, retain more and promote more employees with disabilities.

In 2018, we began the journey to introduce remote captioning so employees with hearing impairments can engage with our global townhalls and shareholder meetings.

We strive for compliance with web accessibility standards for all our digital properties. This includes making our sites accessible to people with disabilities and facilitating access on a broad range of devices.

We've built a 15-point checklist to ensure that the standard components used for publishing digital content comply with the guidelines for accessibility. 

UBS provides dyslexic employees globally with accessibility software to support their reading and writing and we work closely with our corporate services team to provide access to adjustments to our workplaces that meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
