Credit Suisse was one of the first foreign banks to establish operations in the MENA region. Since then, we have continually strengthened Credit Suisse’s commitment to the market, expanding our presence to the main business centers of Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Cairo, Doha, Dubai, Manama and Riyadh.

By combining its investment banking, private banking and asset management activities, Credit Suisse provides expert advice and a comprehensive range of investment products and services tailored to the complex needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in the Middle East, as well as governments and institutions.

Based in all of the major business centers throughout the Middle East, our local professionals are global experts familiar with the specific conditions and regulatory environment in each region.

Private Banking

Private Banking has a strong local presence in the region with offices based in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Lebanon with access to booking platforms in Switzerland, UK and Singapore. Through these different platforms, Private Banking has access to a very diversified best in class product offering for all client needs and segments; supported by Product specialist based in the region.

The offering includes money management, innovative credit facilities for investment and business purposes, a diverse range of structured products for clients with varying investment requirements and full or contingent capital protected strategies within equities, fixed income, commodities or foreign exchange.

By leveraging the different platforms of the integrated bank, a dedicated team of investment banking professionals specialize in providing customized solutions and structures for financially sophisticated private clients on how to finance, manage, optimize and protect their private and corporate assets.

Credit Suisse also has a dedicated team of fund analysts in the Middle East who cover the global FundLab Universe which is the heart of the Bank’s open architecture platform. With approximately 5,000 funds across all asset classes, it provides a broad spectrum of foreign exchange solutions ranging from securitized notes to highly sophisticated tailor made OTC structures.

Investment Banking

The MENA Investment Banking team provides financial advisory, capital raising services, sales and trading for users and suppliers of capital around the world. We have a premier track record in the region in advising clients on complex landmark transactions and in assisting clients in achieving their objectives through M&A, corporate sales and restructuring. The team is a leader in innovative ideas for clients which help them access the best and most efficient capital sources.

Credit Suisse has a dedicated MENA equity platform, covering Sales, Sales Trading, Trading and Derivatives. Credit Suisse also has an onshore trading presence in Saudi Arabia with access to stock exchanges in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. The team facilitates access to MENA equity markets for investors via cash and synthetically through swap, P-Notes and derivatives. We advise and help clients navigate their way through markets with timely and instructive market updates, research and ideas.

Credit Suisse’s Middle Eastern Fixed Income platform in Dubai provides execution, insight and trade ideas focusing on investor time horizons whether they are short or long term. We bring clients the entire spectrum of products across the key growth markets of the world, in cash and derivatives across foreign exchange, credit, interest rates, commodities and hybrid asset classes.

Asset Management

Working as a globally integrated operation, the asset management team is primed to provide clients with exceptional investment ideas, strategies and capabilities. Credit Suisse Asset Management and its Multi Asset Class Solutions (MACS) team provide active asset allocation strategies and solutions across all asset classes.
