Past Speakers Hendrik Susanto

Hendrik Susanto is Chief Investment Officer of Traveloka, the leading online travel and leisure company in Southeast Asia.  In this role, Hendrik leads the external inorganic growth of Traveloka, which includes minority investments, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.  

Prior to joining Traveloka, Hendrik has extensive experience in venture capital and private equity in the US and Southeast Asia.  Most recently, he was CEO and managing director of Ancora Capital, a private equity firm focused on Indonesia. Earlier, he was a venture capitalist with IDG Ventures in San Francisco.  Hendrik started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York.

A graduate of Princeton University with a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management Systems, Hendrik also holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
