Programs for Undergraduates
The Steps to Success – The Doug Paul Scholarship Program provides talented college sophomores from diverse backgrounds with first-hand experience in the financial services industry. The program offers outstanding college sophomores from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino and/or Native American descent) the opportunity to participate in a ten-week summer internship program at our offices in New York City. Additionally, students who successfully complete the summer internship program will be eligible to receive a $5,000 scholarship and may be invited back for a junior year internship.
The program offers:
- A company orientation, followed by divisional training before starting work in your group for the summer.
- A mentor to help you determine your strengths and plan your career.
- Access to the senior leaders who can provide support and guidance throughout the summer.
- Networking and firm-wide events that will expose you to all the areas within the Bank, and provide a broader sense of our organization.
- A balance of work, social events and networking opportunities.
We are proud to sponsor the Americas CEO Awards Scholarship for outstanding juniors from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino and/or Native American descent). This scholarship is for undergraduates who are interested in a career in Asset Management, Equities, Fixed Income or Investment Banking.
We are looking for applicants who demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in financial services, have a history of academic and professional achievement and a proven record of leadership.
If selected, you will receive a summer internship within Asset Management, Sales & Trading or Investment Banking in one of our US offices. Students can rank their options among the following locations: Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. Additionally, students will receive a $10,000 stipend to be used toward tuition, academic and living expenses.
The BA Explorer program is a pioneering educational outreach program designed to encourage undergraduate first year students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native American) to learn more about the world of business, specifically Global Markets (Sales & Trading and Equity Research), Investment Banking & Capital Markets and Information Technology. Selected participants are invited to attend an in-office career development program, in addition to an on-going mentor relationship. Students will learn about current business trends and how businesses are organized. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to participate in an accelerated interview process in August for the Doug Paul Program.
The Doug Paul program offers outstanding college sophomores from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to participate in a 9-10 week summer internship program at Credit Suisse in New York City. Additionally, students who successfully complete the summer internship program will be eligible to receive a scholarship and may be eligible for a junior year internship program offer.
These unique programs will offer students the opportunity to learn about the exciting world of Wall Street, and will expose them to the many professional opportunities within the industry.
The application deadline is Friday, April 7th. Selected candidates will be notified by Monday, May 1st.

The Credit Suisse Top Talent Women's Mentor Program offers unique opportunities for outstanding female college sophomores to learn more about Global Markets (Equity Research/Sales & Trading), Technology or Investment Banking & Capital Markets. This selective program offers numerous benefits, including early access to Credit Suisse leaders, technical skills training, mentorship, and shadowing & networking opportunities. Selected participants are invited to attend an in-office multi-day career development program, in addition to an on-going mentor relationship. Students chosen will be paired with a senior level mentor in their respective division. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to participate in an accelerated interview process for a junior year summer internship before the general applicant pool.
The 2017 program application is due on March 1st, 2017.

Programs for Graduate Students
The Credit Suisse MBA Military Boot Camp is an educational outreach initiative for MBA candidates with prior military experience who are entering business school and interested in a career in financial services. During this one-day program, you will learn about careers in Investment Banking, Sales and Trading, and Private Banking.
You will receive advice from military veterans who have made a successful transition to the financial services industry. You will also have opportunities to network with members of our Americas Veterans' Network, the first such network on Wall Street.
The 2016 program application deadline has passed. Please check back in summer 2017 for new deadline information.
We’re proud to sponsor the Credit Suisse MBA Fellowship for outstanding first-year MBA students interested in a career in investment banking. The Fellowship is offered to women and students of Black/African American, Hispanic/ Latino and/or Native American descent.
To qualify, you must be in a full time MBA program in the United States and eligible for an internship during the summer of 2017. Successful applicants will demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in investment banking and have a history of academic and professional achievement and a proven record of leadership.
As a Fellow, you will receive:
- A summer internship within Investment Banking in one of our U.S. offices.
- A $15,000 stipend for your first year of business school.
- Up to $30,000 paid directly to the university for your second year, or $15,000 towards tuition, academic and living expenses. This is only for Fellows who opt for a second year of their MBA program, successfully complete the Summer Internship Program and accept a full-time offer with Credit Suisse.
The application deadline for the 2017 program is October 1, 2016.
