Season opening @Zurich Opera House
This year too, Credit Suisse provided client service of a very special kind at Zurich Opera House's season opening party: Volunteer employees from Region Zurich South stood in line for visitors to the many events and provided entertainment for the youngest guests.
On September 22, 2018, Zurich Opera House's now traditional season opening party was held for the seventh time, on Sechseläutenplatz in Zurich. With the "Open7" event, Zurich Opera House heralded the start of the new 2018/19 season under the direction of Andreas Homoki, promising thrilling ballet and opera productions. "I am delighted that our long-standing partner Credit Suisse has once again been at this special event, and since the outset has made an enthusiastic contribution to opening Zurich Opera House up to a wider audience," Homoki said.
Credit Suisse stood in line
From ten in the morning until late into the evening, there were numerous free events from the worlds of opera, ballet, and classical music, and thousands of visitors flocked to the Opera House to take part. Now, there were two options: You could stand in line yourself, or you could find someone kind enough to do it for you. And that's precisely what Credit Suisse made possible with its special campaign under the motto "Queuing made easy7." Volunteer employees from Region Zurich South stood in line for visitors on Sechseläutenplatz during their Saturday off. By successfully spinning the special wheel of fortune, people who were tired of standing in line could win the right to have someone take their place, and stand in line for the tickets they wanted. To make the waiting less arduous, there were chairs to sit on and goodies from mobile vendors. A balloon artist worked his magic to create wonderful animals for the children – and the time simply flew by.
This year too, visitors were thrilled with Credit Suisse's offering. "For the adults, it was a welcome relief that we stood in line for them and the children enjoyed the balloon animals and delicious ice cream treats, and they were over the moon with their Digipigi money boxes. Special thanks go to the employees from our region who made this special service possible with their commitment and team spirit," Sacha Poloni, Market Leader of Seefeld/Zollikon said.
Credit Suisse has been a partner of the Zurich Opera House since 1989.
