Thomas W. Jung
High-tech investor & former owner Acutronic Group
Thomas W. Jung studied economics at the University of St. Gallen. He received his master's degree in 1992 and went on to join what is now known as the Airbus Group in Munich, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. In 1996, Mr. Jung acquired the Acutronic Group, which is based in Switzerland and the US. Acutronic is the world leader in the production of flight motion simulators used in the automotive, aerospace, and defense industry. He gave up his majority stake in 2015 as part of a succession solution and continues to focus on investments in the high-tech segment in Switzerland and abroad. Thomas W. Jung also develops real estate projects through his Olten-based firm, Giroud Olma AG.
