Send and Request Money

Do you still need to send your friend some money for the movie ticket he paid for yesterday evening? With Credit Suisse TWINT, you can have it done in a matter of seconds.

  • Sending money: Open Credit Suisse TWINT and select the function "Send and request" > "Send money," enter the amount you wish to transfer, plus the payee's mobile phone number, and tap the "Send money" button.
  • Requesting money: Open Credit Suisse TWINT and select the function "Send and request" > "Request money," enter the amount, plus the mobile phone number of the person you want to request money from, and tap the "Request money" button.

Paying in Online Shops

You can use Credit Suisse TWINT to make payments conveniently with your smartphone in over 1,000 online shops. The tedious task of entering credit card information is a thing of the past. Another advantage of TWINT: You don't have to transfer your payment details to the online shop.

  • After you choose the "TWINT" payment type in the online shop, you will be shown a QR code and five-digit numerical code. Open Credit Suisse TWINT and tap on the QR code icon. Aim your smartphone's camera at the QR code or enter the short numerical code displayed, and – voilà – your payment has been made.

Paying at the Cash Register 

With Credit Suisse TWINT, you can use your smartphone to make payments at more than 30,000 locations.

  • At checkouts using a TWINT Beacon (signal receiver powered by Bluetooth technology): Make sure you have Bluetooth and location services (the latter only on Android 6 and higher) activated. Open Credit Suisse TWINT and tap "Pay now." Now, briefly hold your smartphone up to the Beacon.
  • At checkouts without a TWINT Beacon: Open Credit Suisse TWINT and tap on the QR code icon. Aim the camera of your smartphone at the QR code shown to you.
