"Luggage has to adapt to people", explained Marion Klein, CEO of Pack Easy - Swiss Travel Solutions since 2009. She is constantly thinking of ideal solutions for travel mobility. Small wonder considering she grew up in the business. Klein loves to let her creativity run free. That is how she is constantly coming up with new ideas for suitcases, bags, and trolleys. But where does she find inspiration for clever luggage solutions? Obviously, in train stations, airports, and any place where people are on the move.

The Secret of Pack Easy Suitcases

Innovative ideas plus tradition – this is what makes the Swiss luggage manufacturer special. For instance, production was outsourced to Asia a few years ago, although the beating heart of Pack Easy remains firmly in central Switzerland. At the company headquarters in Emmen, just outside Lucerne, twenty employees ensure that all their clients' needs are met.

The headquarters also houses a sizable after-sales workshop – also known as the suitcase clinic – with an original spare parts depot for luggage items. These are given lasting repairs and are almost as good as new after treatment. In the "Boutik 1961" anyone can receive direct, on-the-spot advice and purchase their own personal luggage. For instance, hand-crafted bags and accessories from the high-end 'Pack Easy Swiss Made' range, in high-quality leather and made entirely in Switzerland.

Brave Trendsetter

Pack Easy was already making an impact on the luggage market in the early 1960s with its patented aluminum framework for light and durable luggage. In the 1980s, the long-established company began importing the first trolleys produced in Asia to Switzerland. Marion Klein remembers: "We loaded a ship container with 2,000 rolling trolleys – a product that was unknown here. However, the risk paid off. The whole shipment was sold within four weeks." The success story continues: In 2011, Pack Easy became Swiss Travel Solutions and continues to stand for innovative suitcase solutions from Switzerland.
