Different data fields in the QR-bill can be used, omitted, or combined based on your needs as either the biller or the bill-to party. These options are available for billing, incoming payments, and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
The UBS QR-Portal allows billers with a UBS or Credit Suisse account without billing software to create QR-bills in various versions free of charge and without having to log in.
From a simple invoice to multiple payment sections with different billing data: try it out and create QR-bills yourself.

Bill-to parties without their own creditor software can use the usual order methods to pay QR-bills.
At Credit Suisse, QR-bills can be paid in Credit Suisse Direct (online banking), mobile banking, and as a multi-payment order by using a written payment order.
Invoice recipients with their own creditor software (file transfer) can use their own infrastructure to pay QR-bills. The infrastructure must be capable of supporting additional and new information when recording QR-bill payments in order to do so.
Note the following:
The software must also be able to create all three forms or formats of payments (pain.001) for the payment order.
Creditor master data typically needs to be supplemented with the IBAN and QR-IBAN.
The QR-IID is a second institution identification (IID) used in today's bank clearing that indicates that the institution participates in the procedure using QR-bill with structured reference.
QR-IIDs are comprised solely of numbers between 30,000 and 31,999. Based on these QR-IIDs, defined IBANs (QR-IBANs) are exclusively used for the new procedure with QR-reference. The QR-IID for Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. is 31,000.
As a feature of the procedure, the QR-IBAN ensures that the structured QR reference is always used as the reference for payments. This billing and payment procedure with structured reference is marked using the financial institution’s unique identification (QR-IID). Important: The QR-IBAN cannot be used for outgoing payments.
The financial institution discloses the QR-IBAN to the issuer.
The QR reference is equivalent to the former 27-digit reference (with Modulo 10 recursive check digit) and is used for simple reconciliation of accounts receivable and incoming payments on the biller side, as in the past.
The QR reference may only be used in combination with the QR-IBAN.
The Structured Creditor Reference (SCOR/ISO 11649 standard) has the same function as a QR reference. Unlike the QR reference, it is used for international payment transactions. You must use the SCOR reference together with the IBAN.
