Sustainability Sustainable Investments
Investments in sustainable real estate are a major lever in addressing the pressing issue of climate change.
Due to our expertise and experience, Credit Suisse Asset Management Global Real Estate holds a strong position in sustainable real estate investments and can offer customized, innovative, and profitable solutions to today’s investors.
Credit Suisse (Lux) European Core Property Fund Plus
This is the first fund to offer qualified investors the opportunity to invest in a carbon-neutral portfolio of commercial properties. Focusing on existing Core and Core Plus real estate in promising European markets, the energy consumption of the investment properties in the portfolio is controlled, measured and monitored in cooperation with the Siemens technology group. Owned properties are upgraded in terms of their energy efficiency based on this measurement data. The aim is to reduce overall energy consumption as well as CO2 emissions, helping to combat climate change and potentially increase investment returns.
It may not be possible to reduce the energy consumption of some properties in the portfolio in a cost-effective manner. If that is the case, the portfolio is made completely carbon-neutral through the purchase of CO2 certificates.
The fund is not registered in Switzerland. It may only be sold to qualified investors pursuant to Article 10(3) to (4) of the Federal Collective Investment Schemes Act (CISA).
