The investment group CSA Real Estate Switzerland Commercial (CSA RES Commercial, Swiss security number 11 354 362) invests directly in a balanced portfolio of commercial real estate in Switzerland. This primarily includes properties with office and retail space. To expand the real estate portfolio, investment is permitted in properties with other types of use such as logistics, commerce, and residential. Properties with hotel and industrial uses may be acquired only if these are housed in structures with mixed uses. Preference is given to newer properties with a long-term lease or which are eligible for a long-term lease, preferably in economically robust locations.

* Only pension funds domiciled in Switzerland that are not subject to tax are permitted as direct investors.

Stephan Auf der Maur

Stephan Auf der Maur

Stephan Auf der Maur has worked in Real Estate Investment Management at Credit Suisse since 2002. Until 2007 he was responsible for the asset management of various real estate funds. From 2007 to 2013 he was fund manager for the CS REF Siat. 

Since 2011, he has been responsible for the CSA RES Residential investment foundation as product manager, and additionally for the CSA RES Commercial investment foundation since 2013. 

After sitting his matriculation examination, Auf der Maur completed an internship at the Schwyzer Kantonalbank (SZKB). In 1993 he transferred to the real estate unit of SZKB, where as a property manager he gained experience in the areas of real estate and finance. Between 1999 and 2002 he administered properties with a large real estate firm in the Lucerne area, before joining Credit Suisse Real Estate Investment Management. 

While in this position, Auf der Maur obtained a Swiss federal diploma as a real estate agent and administrator. He later attended various courses in portfolio management, as well as in finance and valuation management.
