Team Christos Kosmas
Christos Kosmas joined the Investment Management team of Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners as Vice President in 2019. He has more than ten years' professional experience in project financing within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Before joining CSEIP, Christos Kosmas worked on a cross-border pipeline project in Switzerland and was responsible for project financing in cooperation with the EIB, the EBRD, European ECAs, and commercial lenders. He also handled commercial development, economic performance reporting, CEF grant management, and the management of insurance. He previously worked for a large international developer of energy and infrastructure projects in Greece, where he was responsible for the financing and commercial management of a 400 MW CCGT plant. Through his many years of experience in project finance and project management (projects with a total value of more than EUR 12 billion), he has gained extensive expertise in the energy infrastructure area.
Christos Kosmas holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen. He wrote his master's thesis on the "Impact of CO2 costs on electricity production costs under the EU ETS." Furthermore, he has a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
