Switzerland is a key asset management center in Europe and worldwide. To further strengthen the location, the Asset Management Platform Switzerland (AMP) and the Swiss Funds & Asset Management Association SFAMA are being merged into a common branch organization for the Swiss asset management industry.

At the General Meeting of SFAMA on September 25, 2020, the changes to the Articles of Association necessary to create the association were approved, and Michel Degen, Head of Credit Suisse Asset Management Switzerland & EMEA, was newly appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Asset Management Association Switzerland for a period of office of three years. The following board members were also newly appointed: Iwan Deplazes (President, Zürcher Kantonalbank), Charlotte Bänninger (Vice President, UBS Asset Management), Laurent Ramsey (Pictet Asset Management), Axel Schwarzer (Vontobel Asset Management) and Mirjam Staub-Bisang (BlackRock Asset Management Switzerland).
