The Omega European Masters is the only PGA European Tour event to be held in Switzerland, and is the oldest open tournament on the continent. Crans is also the competition venue with the highest altitude in Europe, and the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club is considered one of the most beautiful alpine golf courses in the world. The rolling fairways, the magnificent mountain backdrop, and the fact that some of the world's best players tee off here each year, exert a powerful pull on golf fans.

Swiss Seniors Open

The Swiss Seniors Open in Bad Ragaz is the only event of the European Seniors Tour in Switzerland and the second largest professional golf event in the country. Bad Ragaz has been the host for this, the oldest tournament in Europe for golf professionals aged 50 and above, since 1997. No other tour event has taken place so often at the same venue: Year after year, the warm welcome and perfect organization attract winners of majors, Ryder Cup players and captains, as well as the top players from the European Senior Tour.

Credit Suisse has been supporting the sport of golf for over 30 years and is the main sponsor of the Swiss Seniors Open – ever since the first staging of the tournament in 1997, when it was known as the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open. Credit Suisse is very proud to celebrate 20 years of partnership with this elite tournament and to have always been there whenever international stars and legends like Gary Player, Sir Bob Charles, and Ian "Woosie" Woosnam walked the fairways of Bad Ragaz.

White Turf

A highlight of Credit Suisse's commitment to equestrianism is the White Turf event in St. Moritz. These international horse races are held on the first three weekends in February, against the impressive backdrop of the mountains of the Upper Engadine. Visitors are particularly drawn to the spectacular skikjöring races, in which daring skiers are pulled by thoroughbred horses across the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz. The overall winner is presented with the coveted Credit Suisse Skikjöring Trophy on the last Sunday of the competition. Credit Suisse has been sponsoring White Turf since 1976.
