Our ability to inspire trust and generate client satisfaction is a basic prerequisite for our long-term success. We can only achieve this if we have skilled, responsible and motivated employees. We offer interesting lines of work, progressive employment conditions and wide-ranging training and development opportunities.

Career Opportunities, Learning, and Internal Mobility
Our employee training and development programs enable us to enhance the quality of our service and advisory offering and to continuously adapt our business to changing market and client needs. Our HR policy promotes employee development from the first day on the job through to retirement.
Credit Suisse offers all employees a wide range of training programs that take the form of traditional classroom instruction, e-learning, video-based courses and online learning communities.
As a globally active company, we consider it important to give employees the opportunity to gain new experience by working abroad or in different business areas as part of their professional and personal development. Credit Suisse therefore takes targeted measures to promote internal mobility. In 2015, over 5,000 employees benefited from the opportunity to assume a new role within the bank.
When selected positions at all levels become available, we first proactively approach our most suitably qualified employees to fill these vacancies before reaching out to external candidates.
Employee satisfaction at the workplace has a decided influence on the performance and motivation of our employees. Credit Suisse conducts regular employee engagement surveys in conjunction with an independent consulting firm to assess employee satisfaction and to gain a better understanding of our employees' main concerns. The results provide a picture of our strengths and areas for us to improve, as well as enabling us to gauge our progress. The last employee engagement survey was carried out in spring 2015.
