Head of Wealth Management Australia, Credit Suisse
Michael Marr is Head of Wealth Management Australia. In this role, Mr Marr oversees Australia and New Zealand, focusing on expanding Credit Suisse's regional footprint in this domestic wealth market.
Prior to this role, Mr Marr served as Market Leader of Credit Suisse Wealth Management Australia, overseeing Relationship Management teams in Sydney and Melbourne.
Mr Marr first joined Credit Suisse in 2009 as a Senior Relationship Manager, before taking on the management role of a Team Leader in 2013 and Market Leader in 2017.
Mr Marr has over 30 years of experience working in the banking and finance industry, in Australia and UK, having worked previously for the Macquarie Group in Private Wealth based in Sydney, Debt Capital Markets at the Royal Bank of Canada and Hambros Bank and Private Advisory at Neilson Management, both in London. He began his career in the military, serving seven years in The British Army in the Scots Guards regiment.
Mr Marr serves on the advisory board of the Swiss Global Foundation for Humanity that supports the education and empowering of rural Indian girls and women.
