Credit Suisse Appoints Tsuneaki Hirao as Head of Private Banking Japan

Credit Suisse announced that Tsuneaki Hirao has joined Credit Suisse as Managing Director and Head of Private Banking Japan based in Tokyo.

He joins Credit Suisse from UBS where he worked for more than 10 years, most recently as the Head of Ultra-High-Net-Worth Japan. Before that, he was the Head of Wealth Management Japan, Osaka office for 10 years, successfully building up the Osaka and Kansai region business to an industry leading position. Prior to UBS, he worked for Citi Private Bank where his last position was Managing Director, Market Head Tokyo Branch.

He will report functionally to Alex Wade, Head of Developed and Emerging Asia, Private Banking Asia Pacific, and locally to Martin Keeble, CEO Japan.
