Para-athletics
The fact that sport dominates the life of Elena Kratter is not something that should be taken for granted. Born prematurely, she suffered from cardiovascular problems that could only be alleviated by having her lower right leg amputated. A career in sport was almost inconceivable. But Elena did not let this get in her way. Through PluSport, she got into para-athletics, winning her first European Championship medal and her first Paralympic medal in 2021.
