Dan Fineman is Co-Head of Asia Pacific Strategy, Co-Head of ASEAN Securities Research and Head of Thailand Securities Research at Credit Suisse.

Mr. Fineman has over 20 years' experience in finance and related fields. He has covered Asia Pacific strategy, ASEAN strategy and stocks in a variety of sectors. He has also been voted as top-ranked analyst in Institutional Investor magazine in several categories, including for Asia Pacific equities strategy. In addition to his time in investment research, he has worked as a senior analyst with the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Mr. Fineman holds a Ph.D. degree in Southeast Asian Studies from Yale University and has authored a book on American diplomatic policy in Asia. He speaks, reads and writes fluent Thai, and knows conversational Indonesian.
