Avishek Kumar is Co-Founder and CEO of VFlowTech Pte Ltd. VFlowTech is a spin-off from Nanyang Technology University in Singapore, capitalizing on 10 years of research to address key issues faced by flow batteries and developing new applications with advance energy storage solutions. Dr. Avishek holds a Master of Science degree in Microelectronics from Technical University of Munich, Germany and a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore. Dr. Avishek was one of the chief architects for developing high efficiency half cut PERC Mono solar modules that enabled a 30% cost reduction in solar PV modules. Dr. Avishek has played an active role in the development of over 600 MW solar and energy storage projects in the region and is closely involved in the manufacturing of different energy storage technologies. Dr. Avishek has co-founded and scaled 3 deep tech companies in the field of IOT, Solar and Energy storage.
