Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Ebisu Capital

Takashi Shida is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Ebisu Capital. He brings over 20 years of experience in trading and investment to Ebisu Capital.

Prior to founding Ebisu Capital, he was Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Millennium Capital, where he was responsible for managing an investment team and an equity long/short oriented multi-asset investment portfolio. Prior to joining Millennium Capital, he was Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley MUFG in Japan, where he was responsible for managing an investment team and an equity long/short oriented multi-asset investment portfolio. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley MUFG, he worked at Goldman Sachs in various trading and investment roles.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).
