Partner and Head of Operational Due Diligence Asia, Albourne Partners

Neil Mackie is Partner and Head of Operational Due Diligence Asia at Albourne Partners. A passionate advocate for best practices in the industry, Mr. Mackie has spent more than 10 years conducting operational due diligence exercises on hedge and private markets funds across Asia on behalf of Albourne’s institutional investor client base. Based in Hong Kong, he leads an eight-member regional team interacting closely with managers and providing in-depth feedback and recommendations to non-investment team leaders. 

Prior to joining Albourne Partners, he spent more than nine years at the hedge fund CoalFace as COO and Compliance Officer and at emerging markets and Asian equity asset management in London, Singapore and Hong Kong. Mr. Mackie is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter-holder, an active member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Education Sub-Committee in Hong Kong and a regular speaker at industry events.
