Masahiko Yamaguchi
CEO and Chief Investment Officer, York Asia
Masahiko Yamaguchi is CEO and Chief Investment Officer of York Asia. Mr. Yamaguchi is Co-Portfolio Manager of the York Asian Opportunities, York Event-Driven UCITS and York Asian Event-Driven UCITS funds.
Prior to joining York Asia in 2007, Mr. Yamaguchi worked on event-driven, value and risk arbitrage investments at Citadel Investment Group and as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in Tokyo.
Mr. Yamaguchi holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Keio University. He will be Founder and majority shareholder of York Capital’s spin-off, MY Alpha Management, once regulatory approvals have been received. He will also continue to operate as the new entities’ CEO and Chief Investment Officer, as well as Managing Partner.
