Green Finance Resource Lead, Monetary Authority of Singapore
Jeanne Stampe is Green Finance Resource Lead at Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). She works across the financial regulation, reserve management and financial markets development functions. She is also Senior Fellow at the SOAS University of London Centre for Sustainable Finance, which is a member of the Global Research Alliance for Sustainable Finance and Investment (GFASFI).
Prior to joining MAS in 2020, Ms. Stampe helped to develop the regional sustainable finance ecosystem as the Head of Asia Sustainable Finance for World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for over eight years and was a member of the WWF Global Finance Practice Leadership Team. She brings to her sustainable finance mission 14 years of deal execution experience in private equity and investment banking, working with Apax Partners, Goldman Sachs et al in London, New York, Stockholm and Singapore.
She has co-authored 13 sustainable finance publications, including a 2020 report on Climate Change and Sovereign Risk with ADB Institute and others. This report was supported by the International Network for Sustainable Financial Policy Insights, Research and Exchange (INSPIRE). GRASFI and INSPIRE are the two official global research stakeholders of the central banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) and a Master of Arts degree (Cantab) in Economics from University of Cambridge.
