    Charlie Chai

    Charlie Chai is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Hel Ved Capital. Prior to founding Hel Ved Capital, he managed technology investment mandates of US$15 billion at Fidelity Management & Research. His managed funds included Fidelity Select Technology Portfolio, Fidelity Advisor Technology Fund and Fidelity VIP Technology Fund, together with the technology sleeves of several other Fidelity funds.

    Mr. Chai has over 20 years of investment experience from Boston and Hong Kong – covering transportation, insurance and retail sectors as an analyst before focusing on technology. He also served as sector leader for technology. He moved to Asia in 2011 to spend more time on the technology sector within Asia.

    Mr. Chai earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Dartmouth College in 1997.
