Andrew Garthwaite
Head of Global Equity Strategy, Credit Suisse
Andrew Garthwaite is Head of Global Equity Strategy at Credit Suisse. He based in London. He is also responsible for coordinating global regional and sector strategy as well as European sector/country strategy.
Mr. Garthwaite joined Credit Suisse First Boston in September 2000. Prior to that position, he worked for Warburgs (SG, SBC, WDR, which then all became UBS) from 1988 to 2000, where he had a variety of roles, including Head of Asset Allocation and Global Equity Strategy. Between 1984 and 1988, he was an economist at Morgan Grenfell and Co and worked briefly for Morgan Grenfell Government Securities.
Mr. Garthwaite holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from Bristol University.
